Hello lovelies. I hope everyone is doing well. In today’s post I would like to share my thoughts on the Dance Legend Golden Eye collection. This collection consists of six nail polishes with golden magnetic shimmer. Cat Eye name for this collection is spot on.When activated by the magnet the polishes change on your nails and they do resemble a cat eye with a lot of depth and vibrancy. I have chosen two polishes from the Dance Legend Cat Eye collection, so without further ado, let’s take a look at the photos (lots of photos).
Dance Legend Golden Eye Collection
When purchasing magnetic polishes, you shouldn’t forget to grab a magnet. The magnet that has been provided by Dance Legend is small, but a VERY strong one (it retails for $5). The application of these magnetic polishes is very easy. You apply the first layer and let it dry. Apply second coat and before it has a chance to dry, quickly hold the edge of the magnet over your nail. You can choose to hold the magnet horizontally, vertically or diagonally, it’s all up to you and your imagination. It’s really cool to watch how the particles start traveling on your nail towards the magnet.
Licence To Kill is a bright emerald green nail polish with jelly formula and golden magnetic shimmer. I can easily say that this is the most beautiful green nail polish in my collection. I absolutely love everything about it. The color is perfect and once you use your magnet it transforms into something unreal. The cat eye effect is very clear and visible! The formula was very easy to apply and quite pigmented. I applied two coats, no top coat.
From Russia With Love is a stunning red jelly with golden shimmer. The golden shimmer makes this nail polish look more orange (especially in the bottle), but it’s a gorgeous red. I feel like the cat eye effect was a little less out there comparing to the green one, but still really pretty! Once you hold the magnet the golden particles get together and the red is becoming more vibrant. I applied two coats plus top coat.
What do you guys think of these gorgeous Dance Legend Cat Eye polishes? I have to say, until now I haven’t been the biggest fan of magnetic polishes. The ones I tried in the past were not that great and the magnetic effect was barely there. I think this might be a new formula or a different method and the effect is very strong and clear. I am really loving this collection and I wish I had all six of them.
Please visit Dance Legend website, if you are interested in purchasing these polishes. They retail for $8 per bottle and you can pick up the magnet for $5 (there’s also a magnet pen available).
