Hi everyone. If you are subscribed to my YouTube channel you may have already seen my new tutorial with Indigo Glammer powder. This powder is a white chrome powder and it gives your nails a gorgeous pearlescent overlay. Indigo Glammer comes in two versions: silver and gold. I will show you a video tutorial first on how to apply it and then we’ll look at it over different colors.
In my video I applied two coats of black gel polish Mr. Black. Then I applied a thin layer of Dry Top Coat, which is a top coat without a dispersion layer. It is important to use top coat such a Dry Top with the chrome powders for the smoothest finish.
To achieve the gunmetal effect I applied the Indigo Glammer Silver. The initial application was done with a makeup applicator and then I rubbed it on with a silicone tool for the smoothest finish. At the end I applied another layer of Dry Top Coat to seal everything in.
In the picture below you can see how the Glammer Silver looks over a light pink color (Beach, Please! by Indigo Nails).
Another photo with Glammer Gold over a light blue base color. I used Indigo Nails Aquarius. I have to say that that the pearlescent effect looks so much better in person than in the photos. The nails are very shiny and the Glammer Gold gives a nice golden overlay.
Lastly, let’s look at how both powders look over different colors. I applied the Indigo Glammer Silver and Gold over the following gel polish colors: Mr. Black, Little Bobo, Don’t Worry Beach Happy, Call Me Unicorn, Lila Sky, Don’t Get Crazy, Porcelain Doll, Yummy Mummy, Nudella, Mr. White.
Indigo Glammer powders come in a small jar with 0,5 g of product and it is currently priced at €7 (around $8.25).
What do you guys think of my gunmetal nails? Would you wear such effect on your nails? Let me know in the comments!
