Hello my beautiful friends. In today’s post I would like to show you swatches of the Il Était Un Vernis So Cabaret Collection. Il Était Un Vernis is one of my favorite indie nail polish brands. I am always looking forward to their new releases. Here’s how Il Était Un Vernis describes the collection:
“Welcome ladies and gentlemen, the show will start in a few minutes! This winter, Il était un vernis has chosen to vibrate to the rhythm of the cabaret. Please, be carried away by your imagination… First, we will sit in beautiful red velvet armchairs. Then we’ll settle comfortably, make silence, wait until the room is dark and enjoy the show… Feathers, lace, fishnet, rhinestones and glitters come together on stage and backstage to offer you the most breathtaking show. When the glamour of the scene invites itself into our bottles… This is So Cabaret! “
Pretty in Ink is a gorgeous black holographic nail polish. The formula is pretty awesome and you reach a full opacity in two coats.
Curtain Call is a red holo with pink, red and orange micro-glitters and shimmer. I applied two coats for a full opacity.
Hocus Pocus s a slightly metallic duochrome polish in antique gold that shifts from green to blue. The formula was very nice and easy to apply and I ended up having two coats.
Offstage is an intense pine green with a soft velvet holographic effect. I think this beautiful green is my no.1 favorite from this collection! Another gorgeous formula and we have two coats of polish here.
It’s Showtime Ladies is a glitter bomb with black & holographic micro glitters in clear base. It can be used alone of applied over a colorful base. In my pictures, I am presenting three coats of this nail polish without any base color.
