Hi everyone! I made winter nails today! I know it’s still fall, but the Christmas spirit got into me and I just couldn’t resist. Besides they are forecasting snow soon, so I think my nails are going to fit perfectly. OK, enough of this rambling, let’s get to it.
“Let it Snow” is probably one of my favorite winter/Christmas songs. It’s so heartwarming and I have been humming it for a while. I started these winter nails with a white base from H&M. I put three thin coats to make sure that I have a good coverage. Then I took my acrylic paints and I started mixing them to get a bluish/greyish color for my letters. I mixed white, light blue and a tiny bit of black. These letters were not so easy to make and I had to concentrate really hard, especially when I was making “snow”.
Then I mixed blue with white to get this beautiful baby blue to make the snowflakes on my pinky and thumb. At the end I added some pretty, sparkly glitters. The glitters are from the Born Pretty Store. These glitters are 1.5mm and there is 12 colors in the pack (I used the white one for these winter nails). HERE is the direct link to the glitters.
Use a coupon code WRL91 to get 10% discount in Born Pretty Store plus FREE international shipping. I love all 12 colors of these glitters and I think they are great value for money! The glitters are packed in tiny containers and honestly, there is so many of them, that I don’t think I would be able to ever use them haha.
What do you guys think of these winter nails? :) Let me know what you think and tell me what’s your favorite Christmas song :)
