Hi my beautiful friends. Today I would like to show you a couple of Lilypad Lacquer colors that were exclusively made for Color4Nails. Lilypad Lacquer is a new to me brand, so I did a little bit of research about them. Lilypad Lacquer are 5 free, cruelty free indie polishes made in Australia. All the products are created, handmade and packed by the owner.
All swatches were applied over a ridge filling base, followed by a top coat. Since the formula of these polishes was quite sheer, I had to apply several layers. However, the polishes were very build-able, so I had no problems with application whatsoever. These could also look amazing over a dark base. The products in this post were mini size (7ml / 0.25fl oz).
Lilypad Lacquer Break the Rules is a nail polish that shifts from blue to violet filled with multi chrome, color shifting flakes. I was immediately drawn to this beautiful nail polish, since it’s blue and the shift is so beautiful. The flakes are really popping through and you can actually see all the colors in them. The formula of these polishes is quite sheer, so I applied four layers in the swatches below followed by a top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Love Me or Leave Me is a nail polish that shifts from brown to red filled with multi chrome flakes. There is also quite a lot of green shimmer in this polish, I think you can see the shift in the pictures. I absolutely adore the green flakies! Here I applied four coats plus top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Guilty Pleasures is a nail polish that shifts from green to copper filled with multi chrome and color shifting flakes. There is plenty of green, blue and purple flakes that are peeking through. It was quite difficult to capture the copper shift on camera, but it looks beautiful in person. I applied four coats plus top coat.
What do you guys think of these Lilypad Lacquer colors? Do you have any experience with this brand? If so, what are some of your favorite colors? Please let me know in the comments below, I would like to discover this brand a little bit more.
