Hi lovelies. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I came down with a little cold, so I was just taking it easy and following the Olympics, yay! I was going to post these nautical rose nails earlier, but it just didn’t happen. Here comes another floral design, so brace yourself ;)
The base of these rose nails is a white nail polish from H&M called In It For The Game. It’s a really good white nail polish for a reasonable price. I applied two thin coats for a full opacity. I used a striping tape to make the stripes and the dark navy polish is China Glaze Queen B. It dries so fast, that by the time I started taking the tape off, some of the places were already dry and I had a bit of polish pulling. I hope it’s not too visible.
The roses are made with the wonderful China Glaze Bottoms Up. I just got this polish recently and it was love from the first sight! It’s such a pretty, bright, saturated pink and I can’t believe that I am trying it only now. The shading of the roses is made with W7 Fuchsia. It’s a really deep, fuchsia shade an while it’s a very pretty color, I hate the fact that is smears… Even with a really good top coat. The leaves are made with my favorite Gosh Early Green.
Lastly, I put my favorite Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat to make everything smooth. Unfortunately I got a few smudges from the dark pink polish. While this mani may not be perfect, I really like the color combo and the combination of roses and stripes. On my index finger and pinky I put two tiny, round studs. They are from the Born Pretty Store and you can find them HERE. They are the smallest studs from the wheel. I will be making more detailed review of these soon.
I really hope you guys like these nautical rose nails :) Let me know what you think in the comments below and don’t forget to check my blog tomorrow. I will be posting a simple glitter placement I did yesterday. I am quite proud of it and it took me ages to finish, so I hope you will like it!
Have a lovely evening! Paulina
