Hi everyone. Today I would like to share my swatches of Picture Polish London. This beautiful nail polish was created by my wonderful friend Marine from Marine Loves Polish. I am pretty sure Marine doesn’t need an introduction, because she is one of the most valuable influences in the nail community, but just in case you are new here, you can visit her blog HERE (I am linking to her blog, post, in which she describes her nail polish and the inspiration behind it).
Before I show you her baby Picture Polish London, I just wanted to say, that I am incredibly proud of Marine. She has created one of the most beautiful nail polishes ever and it’s also so in line with her style. Very classy, with something a little sweet. Her inspiration was so beautiful – London is Marine’s favorite city! She was inspired by the colors of the city skyline and the beautiful buildings, which have the greyish blue colors. I have to say, that this color is very fitting for the city of London. It also reminds me a little bit of a rainy sky.
Picture Polish London is a grayish blue holo with a jelly formula. It consists stunning holographic flakies that sparkle within and are very prominent. The formula is absolutely amazing and it takes two easy coats for a full opacity. The nail polish dries smooth and flat on the nail. But I suggest applying a layer of top coat for a more glossy look. My swatches show London with two coats plus top coat.
I noticed something really cool with this nail polish. When you look at it in a natural sunlight you can see a subtle golden shimmer within the blue. It looks amazing! It was pretty difficult to capture this, but maybe it’s a little visible on my first picture of the bottle.
What are your thoughts on this lovely Picture Polish London created by Marine? I am truly amazed at this color and it has become one of my favorites from my little Picture Polish family. I have already worn it on several different occasions and received so many compliments.
Thank you so much dear Marine for sending me your baby. It was such an amazing and thoughtful gift, for which I am very grateful.
