Hello my lovelies. In today’s post I would like to show you a new product – Pixel Effect by Indigo Nails called Cinderella. Pixel Effect is a lovely iridescent glitter that can be applied over gel or regular polish. Because it’s not fully opaque it will look different depending on your base color. In this post I am going to show you how to use Pixel Effect and how it looks on several colors. I also prepared a video tutorial, so I hope you will enjoy this post.
In this case I was applying Pixel Effect onto gel polish and I rubbed it in on cured gel color using my finger. The dispersion layer of the gel will allow the particles to stick to your nail leaving a nice smooth effect. You may also want to choose to apply this effect on uncured top coat and then cure it in lamp. The application is different and the effect as well. It will be more textured, frosty looking effect.
I used several different colors from the new Miami Collection by Indigo Nails to show you how Pixel Effect looks like. I have on my nails (starting from the index finger): Call Me a Unicorn, Miss America, My Summer Melons and Chiquita Banana. I used Sugar Effect white gel to paint the geometric stripes and the new Brush Master Nail Art 005.
In the picture below you can see how the Pixel Effect looks over different colors. I applied it over five different colors: Mr. White, Mr. Black, Is It Pamela?, Miss America and Don’t Worry Beach Happy. I used two different methods of application, so you can compare the results!
What do you guys think of the new Pixel Effect by Indigo Nails? On what color do you think it looks best? To be honest, it’s hard to decide for me. I think it looks absolutely fabulous on every color (and so interesting over black!). You can purchase the Pixel Effect HERE.
This post came into life with collaboration and sponsorship with Indigo Nails. This does not affect my opinions on the products shown. All opinions are my own.
