Snowman Nail Art | VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hi guys. How is everyone doing? I am just popping in here quickly to let you know that I have a new video on my YouTube channel. You might remember that a few years back (it was 2013 to be precise), I made a cute snowman nail art. You can view the blog post HERE. I didn’t expect this, but it actually turned out to be a popular design. I decided to recreate my own nail art from 2013 and make a tutorial! Let’s watch the video first and then I will show you both versions, so you can compare which one is better.

I’ve tried to keep my snowman nail art as close to the original design as possible, but it is a tiny bit different. I’ve added some holographic sparkles and made the guy a little bit shorter haha. I do like both versions and I think the nail art from 2013 was pretty good. I do think that I’ve really improved on my photography, which makes me extremely happy.

I started off this design by painting my nails a beautiful blue color. I used Serendipity Nail Polish Sea Breeze. It seems like this brand is not on the market anymore. Does anyone know what happened to them? It seems like they disappeared into thin air. It’s kind of too bad, because I like this nail polish, the cremes are very pigmented and pretty nice for nail art.

There is quite a few nail polishes that I used to create this snowman nail art, so you can refer to the description box under the video to find a full list. Most of the nail polishes are stamping polishes. Lately, I really like using them for nail art, as they are pigmented and easy to work with. The only downside is that they dry extremely fast, so you have to work fast.

  • Your snowman is adorable!

  • So cute!! I love both snowmen, but your newest one’s design shows him off better. Great video – makes me want to try some free-hand painting again. And, your photography is very beautiful these days, I often look to you for guidance. :)
