Hello my beautiful friends. In today’s post I am going to show you how to make some simple flowers using gel. Making nail art designs can be tricky with gel, as it tends to move around and shrink on the nails. Luckily, Indigo Nails has got our backs, as they have some amazing gels made especially for nail art. Arte Brillante by Indigo Nails are pigmented gels in a brush form. They have a much thicker consistency, so it’s so much easier to create beautiful designs with them.
I used two base colors in this nail art: Coconut Milk and Miss America. They both come from the Miami Collection. I applied two coats of each color.
These soft flowers were my first nail art design using Arte Brillante gels and I have to say, they are wonderful! They are beautifully pigmented and very easy to use. I love that when working with gel you can just take your time. It’s also very easy to wipe off any mistakes with a cleaner. So if you have a bad nail day you can just wipe off the design leaving the base intact.
I used three colors of Arte Brillante: Pink Elephant, Like a Princess and Black Poison. On top of that I used Sugar Effect for the white accents.
I used Master Nail Art 005 nail art brush for this design. It’s a small, thin and short brush, which was perfect for this precise design.
I hope you will be able to recreate these beautiful flowers. They are very simple, but do require a little bit of patience and precision. Working with Indigo Arte Brillante gels was a very positive experience and they made my job definitely easier.
Have you ever tried gel for nail art? If you are looking for some good ones, I highly recommend trying them out. Please visit Indigo Nails website for more information.
