Sugar Spun Nails

Sugar Spun Nails

Hi lovelies. Today my friend Mina inspired me to do a sugar spun nails. I have never tried this technique before and I thought I would give it a go. I followed this tutorial made by Nailasaurus. You should check it out, because she explains it really well how to make these sugar spun nails.

So, I started with a light base, which is W7 (no. 67 Linen) and let it dry for a couple of minutes. For my sugar spun I chose two colors. The blue nail polish is NYC (no. 320) and the orange one is Bourjois (no. 25 Meli Melon). These two colors go so well together! I think I could do many more designs using them.

There is no doubt that sugar spun is the messiest technique I have ever done! Luckily, before I started putting nail polish, I put lots of cuticle oil on around my nails and the clean-up was much easier (you can also use vaseline for the same purpose). Besides the clean-up part, it is a really fun mani to make and I will definitely do it again.
