Hello my beautiful friends. We are taking a little break from all the swatching and today I am going to show you very simple Tropical Nails with an awesome golden accent. I am actually super excited to show you what I used to create this golden goodness, so without further ado, let’s take a look.
I started off my nail art by making a simple two-color gradient. I used a bright turquoise Color Club Blue-Ming and a pink Color Club Wicker Park. I sponged the colors onto the nails with a makeup sponge, making sure to wait for one layer to dry before sponging another one. I topped the gradient with Serendipity Nail Polish top coat. Then I applied these cute summer water decals and sealed everything with top coat again. And that part of my tropical nails was done!
The star of the show was the gorgeous Indigo Nails Metal Manix. Metal Manix is a super, super fine metallic powder that creates kind of a mirror effect on your nails. Metal Manix is best when applied on the soak-off gel polish, because you have to ‘massage’ the product onto the sticky layer of the gel polish. Then you seal everything with top coat and you get this super shiny and reflective surface. I am LOVING this product and it also comes in silver.
Indigo Nails is a well-known brand from Poland, but please check for Indigo website in your country. I have noticed that they have a whole bunch of websites for different countries, so I hope you’ll find one that ships to your country. I paid € 3 for one pot, so it’s not an expensive party.
What do you guys think of my tropical nails? I have to say, I love making detailed and complicated nail art designs, but sometimes popping simple water decals can be very nice too! Super easy, but the end effect is always great! Also let me know what you think of this awesome Metal Manix powder.
I wish you a great day and see you soon!
