Hi my lovely readers!

First of all, I wanted to thank you for all the love I received yesterday for my winter landscape. I really didn’t expect such a positive feedback, so you really made my day :) And today my day was great as well. As I went on my Instagram this afternoon, I realized that I won a giveaway hosted by Glisten & Glow! How amazing :) I am feeling really lucky lately (it’s the third giveaway I won on Instagram in the last month lol). On top of everything, today I got my Christmas tree! It’s the first tree that I have, since I am on my own. In the previous years I would always go home for the holidays, but this year I am staying in the Netherlands (sad face…), so I wanted to have my own tree. My boyfriend and I had a lot of fun decorating it and the cats loved it! A few ornaments already ended up on the floor lol.

Anyways, are you ready for some more winter nails? I made this cute snowman and I named him Snowy the Snowman. Don’t ask ;)

Winter Nails - Snowy the Snowman

I used Essence no. 125 Absolutely Blue as my base. I put two think layers. I love this color so much! I am not really a big fan of Essence formula, but this one was surprisingly easy to work with, plus it was very shiny when it dried, which is always a plus. For the snow slopes and little snowflakes I used OPI Alpine Snow. For the scarf I used China Glaze Neon & On & On and OPI Strawberry Margarita. The rest of the details is made with my acrylic paints.

Winter Nails - Snowy the Snowman

What do you guys think of my Snowy the Snowman? I gotta say that I am pretty happy with this nail art and I was wearing it proudly today.

Have a lovely day! :)
