Chevron French Manicure with Romantic Roses
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! I am going to keep things very brief today, as I have to leave for work in a couple of minutes. Today I have for you a french manicure. A french you say?! We all know how boring some frenches can be, but don’t worry. I kept things interesting and added a little twist to mine.
I had the idea of making a chevron french manicure for a while, but I wasn’t sure how I wanted to execute it. Then I thought, why not adding some favorite flowers? So here it is :)
I started with making simple, white french chevron tips. I used a normal striping tape for this. You have to be careful when using a striping tape for this and make sure the shapes are even. I used my favorite white polish from H&M. It’s quite opaque for a cheap polish.
I made the roses in my favorite color combo: pink and purple. The pink ones are made with Rimmel Ring a Ring O’ Roses and OPI Strawberry Margarita and for the purple ones I used KIKO no. 332 and OPI You’re Such a Budapest. The leaves are made with Gosh Early Green and Catrice Miss Piggy’s BF. My newly trimmed brush let me make the roses super tiny, which I really like :)
What do you guys think of this french manicure? Did I make things more interesting by adding some beautiful floral? I really loved wearing these and when the moment to take them off came, I was quite sad. I even told my boyfriend that this design is at the top of the list of my potential wedding nails :)
Have a lovely weekend :*
