Hi lovelies. I hope everyone is well. Today we are talking all about hand and body care, as I have a review of the Sunny’s Body Products Halloween Exclusive Box. This box of goodies is called Villain Box and it’s inspired by Disney Villains. It is a “sequel” to the princess box that was released in the past and it focuses on the princesses evil counterparts. I am very excited about this box. I think the inspiration is so cool and all the scents are just gorgeous. Not a single one that I didn’t like.
Smells like yummy dragon fruit.
Sunny’s Lip Saver – Prick Her Finger inspired by Maleficent. This lip balm smells like a dragon fruit. It’s a very pleasant fruity and sweet scent that makes me reach for this product even more. This product has quickly become my favorite lip balm. I have tried so many in the past (as my lips tend to be very dry) and this is the only thing that currently works for me. Couldn’t love it more.
A Spooky mix of cajun spices.
Sunny’s Lip Scrub – Friends On The Other Side inspired by Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. Let’s start by saying that this lip scrub smells wonderfully like fall in a jar. The one spice that stands out to me is cinnamon. I exfoliated my lips with this product this morning and they feel very soft right now. Because of the strong spices my lips were feeling very tingly, almost as if I was using a lip plumping product. Not sure if I really liked this feeling, but I soothed my lips with the balm and it was fine.
Notes of crisp apple, pear, and melon leads to a finish of decadent white chocolate and creamy vanilla.
Sunny’s Intensive Cuticle Therapy Oil – Magic Mirror on the Wall inspired by Evil Queen from Snow White. Evil Queen is one of my favorite villains (any Once Upon a Time fans out there?). I am definitely picking up strong notes of a fresh apple, but not that awful artificial scent, but a really nice one that smells like fall. This cuticle oil is one of my most used products and I have many of them. I keep them everywhere (near my desk, nightstand, my bag) and I apply it on my cuticles every chance I have. My cuticles are very happy :)
Pineapple, coconut, violet and jasmine and in reaching to her depths you will discover driftwood, sprinkled sugar and white musk.
Sunny’s Cuticle Oil – Poor Unfortunate Souls inspired by Ursula from The Little Mermaid. I think this is one of my favorite scents from this box. It’s quite fruity, but not overpowering leaving space for other things like the beautiful jasmine and white musk.
A blend of buttery vanilla and sweet green grasses.
Sunny’s Sugar Hand Scrub – Mother Knows Best inspired by Mother Gothel from Tangled. This sugar scrub has a very unique combination of scents that work together really well. The vanilla is not too strong and overpowering and the green grass make it a bit more fresh. I love using this hand scrub when my hands need some extra care (usually once a week). This product leaves a nice film on your hands that feel very moisturizing and nourishing. My hands are very soft and fresh afterwards.
A woody, amber-moss and spice with a hint of sandalwood.
Sunny’s Hand Butter – Patience Iago, Patience inspired by Jafar from Aladdin. This scent is quite masculine and since I love sandalwood, I really enjoy it. Hand Butter is one of the products in my hand care routine that I use daily. It has a thicker consistency and it makes my hands very nourished. I typically put it on my hands (and feet) before bed, so it can work its magic during the night.
Resinous bay leaves infused in the mellow woody smell of rum that has been aged and matured for months in wooden kegs.
Sunny’s On The Go Hand Lotion – Tick Tock inspired by Captain Hook from Peter Pan. This is definitely a woddy and earthy scent. It’s not something that i would normally reach for, but I am actually loving it. This hand cream quickly moisturizes dehydrated hands. It absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. I always keep one in my handbag.
Lily, rose, amber, oakmoss and sandalwood.
Sunny’s Dry Spot Healer – If She Doesn’t Scare You inspired by Cruella from 101 Dalmatians. This scent right away reminded me of the Nivea scent, which I don’t particularly like. It does have some different notes in there comparing to Nivea, which make it more pleasant for me. I love using Dry Spot Healer on my elbows or on those days when my hands feel very dry.
Top – Ginger, Juniper Berries and Ginger; Middle – Spruce, Cardamom and Osmanthus; Base – Vetiver, Tonka and Amber
Sunny’s Bath Whip – I killed Mufasa! inspired by Scar from The Lion King. This scent is very subtle and fresh. The bath whip is something like a whipped soap. This product leaves my skin squeaky clean, so I cannot use it too often or it can be drying. I typically like to apply it onto my exfoliating glove and massage it all over.
Unique blend of narcotic florals, balanced with addictive woods and vanilla absolute create a scent that is timeless yet modern, simultaneously dark and light.
Sunny’s Triple Thick Body Cream – Wash The Windows, Scrub The Floor inspired by Lady Tremaine from Cinderella. The fragrance is quite strong and very fall appropriate with a lot of components, but they work together in a perfect harmony. I like to apply the lotion on my arms and cleavage. Sometimes I use it on my hands when I want hydration, but nothing too oily.
A fresh, soft floral, highlighted with fresh greens very similar to happy heart perfume!
Sunny’s All Over Body Balm – Off With Her Head! inspired by Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. This is my second favorite scent from this box! Stunning and feminine. It is inspired by Happy Heart fragrance by Clinique. I like using this balm on my elbows ot sometimes even cuticles. It is super moisturizing!
Juicy lime is spiked with wild mint and swirled with ocean lilies, musk, palm trees, and sea moss.
Sunny’s Miracle Balm – Fine, Fine, I’m Cool, I’m Fine inspired by Hades from Hercules. It’s a nice musky scent with lots of mint in there. This is a much thicker product that can be used for different purposes: dry elbows or knees, dry cuticles or hands.
I would also like to show you two new products in Sunny’s Body Products range: Jelly Soap and Fizzy Shot.
Sunny’s Jelly Soap in Vanilla Extract, which smells exactly like the name suggest. It’s a soap in a jelly form that you can use in the shower or bath. This product will come in a different container than shown in the picture, which will allow you to take it out much easier. This little jelly has such a funny consistency and I found that I like using it. I just scoop up a tiny amount and it dissolves in your hands and foams a little bit. It’s definitely different and a fun product to use, especially for kids.
Sunny’s Fizzy Shots are a little smaller alternative to bath bombs. You can drop one in your bath (the container is quite small, so I am not sure what effect that would have) or in a small bowl of water for when you do your manicure. I used one this evening for my hands and they were nicely refreshed, but moisturized at the same time. My Fizzy Shot came in Bora Bora scent and it smells just like a summer drink!
What do you guys think of this Sunny’s Body Products Halloween Exclusive Box? I absolutely love the inspiration of this box and that Sunny didn’t forget about our overlooked villains after making the princess box. I can honestly say that all the scents are gorgeous and there is not one that I didn’t like. They are also far from my usual picks, so I am very glad I got to try something new that I wouldn’t normally reach for. I have now accepted the fact that fall is here and I can lit a candle and slather myself with all the wonderful smelling hand and body care items!
